Where can we find rest?
This past week has been wearisome for us in and around Houston.
The effects of Hurricane Harvey have left us physically tired as we couldn't sleep because of the flash flood and tornado warnings.
For others, it was the burden of packing a few belongings in a car in order to evacuate. And for many the days, months, years ahead will be full of physical stress and labor to get back to normal. Not only does this disaster take a toll on our physical bodies, but it also affects us spiritually.
So where can you turn for spiritual rest? Where can you find a light burden to carry? The answer is in Christ, so you are invited to come this Sunday and find some rest in these disastrous times.
