Mark and Lorie Wheat
Pastor Mark Wheat
Pastor Wheat graduated from Austin College, UT Tyler, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts, a Masters in Clinical Exercise Philosophy, and a Master of Divinity. While pastoring in South Carolina, he wrestled with Reformed Theology and eventually served as an OPC Associate Pastor in Texas. He ministered in a Central California OPC congregation for 10 years and has been In Southwest Houston since 2021, leading the people of Good Shepherd OPC. He has been married to Lorie since 1990, and they have four children they adore.
